Details of Admission Procedure

Arya Mahila P.G. College is affiliated to Banaras Hindu University. Admission can be sought only after qualifying in the merit list of UET & PET Entrance Examination conducted by Banaras Hindu University. Once a student receives a call letter regarding admission, she has to be present herself on specified time, date & place for counseling. If a candidate is selected for admission in Arya Mahila P.G. College, she has to fill an application form which can be obtained from the college office by paying Rs.200 or can be downloaded through college website. The Allotted seat will be confirmed only after submitting the application form along with all the academic, transfer certificates and the admission fee.

Essential instructions for admission

1. Following documents are to be submitted at the time of admission (if a candidate fails to produce any of these following certificates in original, her candidature shall be considered cancelled):
   1. All the original mark sheets and certificates as mentioned in entrance test form.
   2. High School or equivalent exam certificate & Mark sheet.
   3. Intermediate or equivalent exam certificate & Mark sheet.
   4. Caste Certificate.
   5. Admit Card of Entrance Test.
   6. Character Certificate Issued from the school/college last attended.
   7. Parent/guardian’s declaration of her/his annual income and number of dependents.
   8. Migration Certificate (must be submitted within one month; not exceeding 90 days).
2. Three sets of self-attested documents and five passport size photographs must be submitted.
3. Arya Mahila P.G. College employees ward certificate, if applicable, issued by Principal.
4. Physically challenged candidates will be admitted on University Medical Committee's recommendation.
5. Parents/guardians must be present at the time of admission.
6. If at any stage the applicant is found ineligible, admission will be cancelled. Reasons include:
   1. Minimum eligibility not met.
   2. Forged documents submitted.
   3. Any other valid reason.
7. Caste Certificate once submitted will be final; no change allowed later.
8. If caste certificate is missing at the time of admission, it must be submitted within 1 month.
9. Claims for admission after last date will not be entertained.
10. Subject once allotted cannot be changed.
11. SC/ST/OBC category admission will be verified by the Deputy Registrar.
12. If any document is fake, admission will be cancelled and candidate may be debarred from BHU exams.
13. Registration is mandatory within seven days of class commencement.
