This program is designed to produce skilled manpower to create career opportunities in various sectors of the food processing industry. It opens doors for unemployed youth in both private and public sectors.

The program includes General Education Components such as communication skills and computer fundamentals, and Skill Development Components like:

  • Food Chemistry, Biochemistry & Microbiology
  • Human Nutrition
  • Processing Technology of Fruits & Vegetables, Cereals, Legumes, Oilseeds, Spices & Condiments
  • Meat, Fish, Poultry, Milk & Milk Products
  • Food Analysis
  • Food Safety and Quality Management
  • Seminar and Project Work
Programme Outcome:
  • Eligible for employment in state & central government organizations, NGOs, and private sectors.
  • Prepares students for specific occupations and direct entry into the job market.
  • Develops understanding of food safety, quality control, and sustainable development.
  • Promotes professional ethics, regulatory compliance, and understanding of health impacts of processed food.
Eligibility:
  • Minimum educational qualification is 12th pass or equivalent from any recognized board/university.
  • Only for Female Candidates.
