About The Department

Department of Economics

The Department of Economics was established in the year 1956 with an undergraduate course. Apart from imparting knowledge of Economics, the department focuses on developing professional skills among the students and encouraging them to pursue a career in the field.

Given the subject’s relevance and interdisciplinary importance, faculty members actively engage in updating students with the changing economic scenarios at both national and global levels.
