About The Department

The Department of Philosophy was established in the year 1960, wherein Philosophy as a subject was introduced at the Bachelor’s Degree level.

From the year 2010, Post-Graduation in Philosophy has also been introduced. The Department of Philosophy has always endeavored to ensure academic excellence and promote the social, cultural, and holistic development of its students.
