The Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture & Archaeology (AIHC & Archaeology) at Arya Mahila P.G. Since its establishment in 1960, the department has consistently upheld a tradition of academic excellence, beginning with undergraduate instruction and expanding to postgraduate programs in 2011. In 2015, it further strengthened its academic profile by initiating Ph.D. supervision, fostering advanced research and scholarly inquiry.
