Trade and business activities play a pivotal role in the economic development of a country. These invariably require smart professionals who have been deftly mentored in all sorts of activities associated with commercial flows. Sensing this need of the industry and society, Department of Commerce at Arya Mahila P.G. College was established in the year 2004. The department provides three years course of B.Com. (Hons.) degree since 2004 and is privileged to run M.Com. (Hons.) course from academic session 2019-20.

The Department renders quality education at U.G. and P.G. level through a team of eminent teaching personalities. The department is committed to bringing excellence in academic and professional activities. Organizing seminars, workshops, quizzes, debates, special lectures, personality development programs and industrial visits are the regular features of the department. It is actively engaged in nurturing the innate inclinations of its students in becoming responsible professionals in the fields of finance, accounting, marketing, entrepreneurship and the like. The Department is one of the most active with tremendous potential for growth as it has achieved almost cent percent results during the previous academic years.
